Dogs and their Owners is a series of portraits of dogs and their owners with the focus on the dog as a prognosis of the British public at large. With 6 million dogs in the UK – what do they say about our society?

East London-based photographer Dougie Wallace grew up in Glasgow. He is internationally recognised for his long-term social documentary projects and a distinct direct style of expressive street photography. His photo book Harrodsburg won the inaugural ‘Magnum Photography Award 2016’. Dougie has had 5 books published to date.

We Are British

Rio Blake
We Are British is a celebration of the British multicultural society – featuring mixed heritage British residents from across the UK including London, Brighton, Birmingham, Jersey and Blackpool.

Rio Blake is a London based documentary & portrait photographer, whose work focuses on the real aspects of life. Rio has been taking photos since the age of 15, originally as a way to record memories by documenting her day to day life. This allowed her photography to emphasise an intimacy between subject and photographer, which has continued to be constantly present in her work.’

Shepherding the Uplands

Shepherding the Uplands is an exhibition along footpaths in the Dee Valley, portraying a year of hill-sheep farming communities in North Wales as they diversify from EU subsidies and find new ways to keep their farms running in uncertain times post-Brexit.

Phil is a photographer based in Wales who travels the world in search of images and stories. His clients include the Guardian, the New York Times, Le Monde, and other major news outlets where he has covered conflicts in Syria, Libya and South Sudan.
